Xi Jinping Officially Becomes President of China for 3 Periods, Congratulations Jokowi

Xi Jinping officially appointed as President of China for the third term. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) congratulates Xi.

“Congratulations to President Xi Jinping for his re-election as President of the People’s Republic of China,” Jokowi wrote on his Instagram account, Saturday (11/3/2023).

Jokowi’s congratulations were written in English. Jokowi also uploaded a photo of shaking hands with Xi.

Jokowi also invited Xi to continue and strengthen cooperation for common prosperity. He also invited Xi to continue to maintain regional peace.

“As strategic partners, let us continue to strengthen cooperation for the welfare of both countries and continue to contribute to regional peace and stability,” he said.

The voting was carried out at the NPC annual meeting which was held at the Great People’s Square in Beijing since last weekend.
