In his speech to them, Xi Jinping emphasized: “We are determined to face the challenges hand in hand to build a closer community of shared destiny of China and Central Asia, as well as contribute to building a community of shared destiny of mankind . We will support each other on issues affecting our core interests, such as those related to sovereignty, independence, security, territorial integrity and others. We will mutually support our development paths that correspond to the realities of each country, we will categorically oppose the interference of any power in our internal affairs.”
Central Asian countries gave a positive assessment of the importance of Chinese-style modernization to world development and once again emphasized that they will follow the one-China principle.
At the meeting, it was decided to create a mechanism for meetings between the heads of state of China and the countries of Central Asia. They will be held every two years in China or Central Asian countries. The next summit is scheduled for 2025 in Kazakhstan.
