Uzone.id – Towards the close of 2021, national automotive sales continue to recover. Until November 2021, the total national market for retail sales reaches around 761 thousand units, and wholesales around 790 thousand units.
This positive achievement cannot be separated from the government’s support through tax relaxation (PPnBM) until December 2021.
Not only for the national automotive market, Daihatsu’s sales have also increased. Until November 2021, Daihatsu recorded a market share for retail sales of 17.5%, and whole sales of 18.9%.
In total unit sales, as of November 2021, Daihatsu’s retail sales volume was 132,950 units, or an increase of 46.4%, and whole sales volume was 149,113 units, or an increase of 77% compared to the same period in 2020.
On a monthly basis, Daihatsu’s sales in November 2021 also increased compared to the previous month to 14,861 units, which was also the highest monthly sales throughout 2021.
The top 3 highest sales were Sigra 3,827 units or contributing 25.8%, followed by Gran Max PU 3,590 units (24.2%), and Ayla 1,917 units (12.9%).
In addition, Daihatsu has launched the All New Xenia on November 11, 2021, and received a positive response from the Indonesian people.
Specifically for November, both the All New Xenia and the previous Xenia models have sold a total of 1,555 units, or an increase of 199% compared to the previous average monthly sales.
