Today, Xbox Corporate Vice President of Game Creators and Ecosystem Sarah Bond commented on Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Bond thanked the community for their support and advocacy during the long ordeal, which has now been going on for over a year, calling it “epic”. She added that Microsoft is encouraged by the approval of the vast majority of regulators who have expressed their opinion so far and continues to have a constructive dialogue to move forward.
She also noted that maintaining a constructive and respectful attitude towards all participants is key to Microsoft’s vision of bringing all gamers together.
The Xbox community’s support and advocacy for the ABK acquisition is epic. We do not always agree with the results, but we are pleased that almost 40 countries have approved the acquisition and we continue our constructive dialogue to move forward. By staying positive and respectful of all involved, we are key to realizing our vision of bringing everyone who loves to play together. Thank you.
