Xbox starts testing, starting this Thursday (4), a joint subscription plan for the Xbox Game Pass. Testing begins in selected countries, initially in Colombia and Ireland.

The Xbox Insider group of users in those countries will be able to opt for a service subscription plan that allows multiple people and accounts to share Game Pass Ultimate benefits and therefore split the value of the service.

The family plan of the service allows the sharing of benefits on consoles and PC by up to four people, with a single subscription at a differentiated price. Initially, people sharing the subscription must reside in the same country.
Microsoft did not detail when and if it plans to launch and expand the Xbox Game Pass family plan to other markets. As always when it comes to testing, some features available during the beta phase may not make it to the final version or may undergo significant changes.
Currently, Xbox Game Pass plans available in Brazil give access to all games in the catalog, however, each of them has its own particularities. In addition, any subscription entitles users to exclusive discounts and offers within the Microsoft Store. Check out the available options below:
- Xbox Game Pass for PC: first month for R$5.00 and subsequent months for R$29.99;
- Xbox Game Pass for console: monthly subscription for BRL 29.99;
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: first month for R$5.00 and the following months for R$44.99. This subscription is valid for consoles, PC and also includes Xbox Live Gold and EA Play.
