By popular request, the Xbox Series X and S consoles will allow users to restore their Xbox 360 profile photos.
Microsoft is testing an option that will allow to recover the avatars of the console from two generations ago, which were no longer available. In the event that a user had not changed their profile image since then, the images would appear very small and pixelated.
According to Xbox’s chief engineering officer, Eden Marie, the option is already available to a small group of testers.
According to the images, the “classic” avatar appears as one of the options to select for our current profile photo. Of course: it only allows us to move the image that we had put on our Xbox 360 console. In the case of wanting a new one, we would have to change it from the Xbox 360 console itself.
Hey all, I know a bunch of you were asking for a way to go back to your Xbox 360 gamerpic. Exploration Time to the rescue!
If you’re an Alpha Skip Ahead Insider, you may need to reboot your console, but starting today you’ll find a new option in your “change gamerpic” screen. pic.twitter.com/YWijIJR2HE
