Xbox Series X: Phil Spencer felt even better after the PS5 announcement | Xbox One

Phil Spencer gave up on a few confidences in an hour-long video interview with Ryan McCaffrey of IGN. If no announcement has been made, the Xbox boss still released some messages, anecdotes and details on the future of the brand. We are talking about how it feels compared to the PS5.

Even if things are more or less known in the corridors of the industry, nothing beats an official announcement to really discover the specs of a console. With the recent PS5 reveal (Xbox Series X vs PS5 Specs), Phil Spencer felt more confident.

When we saw the public presentation, I felt even better about the choices we made on our platform. And I expected to find myself in this state. The hardware team that created the Xbox One X … I trust them a lot. If I give them the time and the target to reach, I simply believe in their ability to create.

The Xbox Series X indeed has more power than the PS5, with a power greater than 12 TFLOPs, while the PS5 caps at 10.28 TFLOPs. Each console has yet to show what it has in its belly, but the advantage is already going to Xbox for the treatment, in particular, of Ray Tracing.
