Yesterday, a series of official documents seems to have revealed the existence of Xbox Lockhart ou Xbox Series S, as it will probably be called. This console would be the lower consideration for the X Series, and a new report has disclosed its possible technical specifications.
According to the portal The edge, the « LockhartProfiling mode“Referenced in yesterday’s documents contains information on what Microsoft you want to build with this console, including part of the development kit of the Xbox Series X:
“We understand that [el Xbox Series S] it includes 7.5 RAM, a slower processor and around 4 teraflops of power in the GPU. “
In comparison, we know that the Xbox Series X It will have 12 terflops on its GPU, as well as 13.5 GB of RAM. The site also mentions that Xbox Lockhart will be focused on 1080p or 1440p resolutions, rather than 4K as the X series.
We still don’t know when Xbox Series S, but we will surely see it finally during the presentation of Microsoft next month.
