The Xbox Series S is seen as the cheapest way to enter the new generation of consoles, a digital-only alternative for consumers who prefer to worry about their pockets and less about the quality of the games they expect to play on their console.
During these busy days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, MediaMarkt in the Netherlands decided to place an Xbox Series S bundle in stores accompanied by the FIFA 23 game and a €15 discount card to use in the Microsoft digital store.
So far there is no problem, but the version of FIFA 23 included in the package is the physical version and this means that it cannot be played on the console to which it is associated in the bundle.
This was seen by customers and shared on social media for a moment of humor, something that MediaMarkt recognized as an error and promptly corrected. In addition to thanking the customer for the repair, he thanked him for the feedback that would help resolve the situation and prevent future disappointments.
Hi Danny! There was indeed a mistake in the store, and it has been promptly rectified. Thanks for your vigilance, and apologies for any inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback. 👍 Best, Daan, Team MediaMarkt
