But now, more than a year and a half after its launch, it seems that the new Xboxes have finally got the ability to run Windows 98. And along with this, classic PC games like Quake, Half-life, Turok, etc.

This is thanks to the DOSBox Pure emulator and the Retroarch frontend. Using these programs, people from Digital Foundry was able to accomplish the feat and shared a video of it.
Just imagine all the great classic titles you could now play on your Series X|S alongside Halo Infinite. Some examples are Starcraft, Myst, Baldur’s Gate, Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, and the list goes on.
the people of Archades Games (via Eurogamer.net) have posted a video of their own showing how to install Retroarch on Xbox Series X and S.
