A long lost Xbox One and PC game is finally, after several years, released soon. We last saw the game in question at the Xbox E3 2019 press conference more than three years ago. At the time, it was slated for a 2020 release. Of course, that didn’t happen. It didn’t happen in 2021 either. And it won’t happen in 2022 either, but it will happen in 2023, or more specifically, the first quarter of 2023, which is between the beginning of January and the end of March. If you haven’t connected the dots, the game in question is path to the forest.
Developed by solo developer Anthony Tan, path in the woods It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally coming to PC and consoles in the next few months. It’s not specified which consoles specifically, but Xbox consoles seem like a safe bet.
“A stag and a fawn must embark on a journey through an abandoned world of the unknown to return home,” reads an official commentary on the game. Endowed with a power of light, the power of the Deer and the Fawn through oil-filtered environments. Clean up the mess that has been left behind and discover new sparks.”
when path in the woods appeared during the aforementioned show, she attracted the attention of many fans. Having said that, by now we must imagine that many have forgotten about it. And, of course, it remains to be seen whether it lives up to the expectations he originally set. That said, the quality speaks for itself, so if the game is great, you needn’t worry.
