The World Within: The Last Wind Monk it’s a solid point and click adventure title, with a similar sense of humor in vein to the monkey island games. If you’re a fan of point-and-click games, you’ll find yourself in a comfortable position, with the game taking 3-5 hours to complete, but the humor and unique visual style make up for its short game length. It’s not exactly a game for everyone, but if you’re curious about what it has to offer, there’s no better way to experience it.
If you long for the days of arcades, with eye-popping visual spectacles and high-octane driving, Hydro Thunder: Hurricane is the featured headline on the list for you. With 11 tracks to wreak havoc, you’ll pull off high-flying stunts, smash through objects, find shortcuts, and more. It’s a great title, expanding and improving on its original form in almost every way. While it may not have the awesome setup you would have in the arcade, with the dual booster controls, it’s still a great time to have some fun, and with the multiplayer frenzy to boot. A must download for lovers of arcade racing games.
And last but not least on the Games with Gold list is Viva Piñata: Party Animals. You will select one of the lovable cast members of viva pinata, and competing in 40 different mini-games to see who is the best party animal of them all. Although not as polished as mario party, those who are looking for fast and cheap thrills to play with friends can enjoy here. While it’s not as good as the original title, you can still find something fun, but it might not be for everyone. It could be amazing, depending on the type of player you are.
