Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Extended: High On Knife, The Lamplighters League, and More

This year’s “non-E3” may have ended with yesterday’s Ubisoft for most players, but a little something is still happening. We have therefore prepared another summary that summarizes the most important things that happened today Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Extended.

A new trailer for the next-gen third-person looter shooter The First Descendant has arrived. Crossplay beta will be available from 8/22 to 8/28.

The upcoming major update for Fallout 76 follows the Mutation Invasion expansion and will be released alongside the thirteenth season of Shoot for the Stars. Specifically, 6/20. These are a pair of new Public Events that will appear on the game map at regular intervals. And apparently they will be supplemented by some side quests and mainly mysterious creatures known as Ogua and Blue Devil. At the same time, a new expedition to Atlantic City was announced the day before yesterday. However, the Expeditions mode will not be expanded until 2024.

Ghostbuster Phasmophobia casts the net (read thermometers, DOTS sensors and cameras) to other parties. The game will be included in the early access program on Xbox already in August, i.e. in two months.

Even Lies of P had its moment of fame. Using a nine-minute showcase, the developers prepare us for all the mechanics and woes that we will encounter in the role of P when the game is released on 9/19. Don’t forget that you can play the demo version right now.

A surprise for the viewers was the published video from behind the scenes of the creation of Hellblade 2. We can take a look at the process itself and listen to the comments of the creators. It is interesting to see how some scenes were created and how the whole process unfolded gradually. The creators also emphasized the immersion of the actors and tried to prepare such an environment and atmosphere for them so that they could get into the role well. The video is worth watching.

As the name suggests, 33 Immortals will be a co-op action roguelite for, surprisingly, 33 players. Each player chooses his character, his weapon and goes to a hellish world where souls refuse to follow the decisions of God. The benefit of this crazy and fast-paced battle is that you keep all the upgrades you achieve on your journey against fate. In this world you need to pick up what you can find and attack. Simple, fast and punchy.
