At the same time, Sony was collecting prizes after prizes, while the competitor in the face of the Xbox was almost invisible.
It’s ironic that The Game Awards 2022 was held at the Microsoft Theater and the event was attended by Phil Spencer himself. One of the Xbox-published games even won an award, unveiled another batch of Game Pass titles, and new features were announced… but otherwise, loyal fans of the brand were left disappointed.
