Call of Duty will not get any exclusive content on Xbox, according to Phil Spencer. Instead, it is expected that there will be 100% parity regardless of the platform you play on.
On the official Xbox-podcasten (cut by CharlieIntel) Spencer says that Xbox does not hair “some goal of using Call of Duty to get you to buy an Xbox console.” He also confirmed that there will no longer be different betas depending on which platform you play on for Call of Duty.
This sounds a little too good to be true right now, and there’s a chance this could change over time, but right now it seems like Xbox is being pretty cautious about how they’re handling their big new purchase. If you immediately make changes to Call of Duty, it will probably make many people react, so the safest thing is probably to keep the parity up, at least for the time being.
