After stopping last October, Xbox Design Lab Check back to allow users to create their own custom Xbox console. This time, the software now features the latest version of the Xbox Wireless Controller.
The Xbox Design Lab has a host of options to choose from when creating your own Xbox Wireless Controller. Almost all console exteriors can be customized in color, including the body, case back, D-pad, bumpers, triggers, joysticks, front buttons, display, menu, and buttons to share. You can also laser engrave your name, Gamertag, or custom 16-character message on the console.

There are a total of 18 different colors to choose from for most console parts such as the bodywork, spoilers, and fenders. Parts like the View, Menu, Share, and Flip buttons have slightly more limited options.
Regardless of what you choose, Xbox explains that most color options are made from recycled plastic at 30% by weight. Specifically, Robot White, Pulse Red, Zest Orange, and Regal Purple do not include PCR plastics.
Xbox also says that this latest update from Xbox Design Lab is “just the beginning.” He is currently working on new processes, materials, and innovations to enhance the console customization experience. More will be revealed “in the coming months.”
