Xbox continues to show its support for the indies

On March 26, the /twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox, an event focused on games indie that left a very wide list of titles that will be coming to Xbox, some even exclusively and from day one to the system Gamepass.

More than three hours of content

The event itself was quite long, more than three hours. Lots of interviews, content, previews and information, including more than 60 games from the scene indie, 20 available from day one on Xbox Gamepass and some household names, at least as far as developers are concerned.

There is something for everyone. RPG, driving, adventure, puzzles, genres are the order of the day, and even if you are not a staunch follower of independent titles, one of them can probably catch your attention. My list already contains an interesting handful of games.

What is to come

One of the ones that has been on my list for a while is Twelve Minutes from Annapurna Games. A game that has interesting mechanics, but also has recognized actors participating in the project. Among Us is another one of those names, something well known, that will be coming to Xbox soon, with its content to date.

Among the news is Death’s Door, from Return Digital, a visually stunning title that looks supremely fun. Another who knew how to get my attention has been Hello Neighbor 2, mainly by artificial intelligence, which learns from our games, but not only the enemy, but also all the people.

Nobody Saves the World It caught my eye and its trailer immediately brought back memories. He had reasons, since the development is in charge of Drinkbox Studios, the same as Guacamelee. Although the style of play is not the same, graphically it does have similarities and it looks quite promising.

Little gigants

Usually the term indie It may lead us to think, in the wrong way, that we are facing small projects in size and duration, however this presentation brought long-awaited names, such as the case of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2. The long awaited game of GSC Gameworld presented some interesting details of its development, which make its scope very clear.

Rust is another of those names that was able to gain recognition thanks to streamers and that it is still a great project in size and scope. Last we have The Ascent, which has been accompanying the latest announcements of Xbox and that it has a very interesting and striking setting.

The list of indies that we saw in the presentation has been overwhelming and this is only a small mouthwatering of what will be coming to the Microsoft console. The full list can be found at this link and for my part, I can’t wait for what’s to come in the next few months.
