We are officially two weeks away from the E3 2021 Xbox conference. In two weeks, Microsoft will present the Xbox games that will be released between the summer and the end of the year, but also some titles for the next few years. Among them, a certain game from Arkane Studios could be part of the game.
Omen: Arkane’s new fantasy game?
Arkane Studios is now part of the Xbox family following the buyout of Bethesda. The games developed by the Lyon and Austin teams will therefore end up arriving as soon as they are released in Xbox Game Pass, which interests us all the more today.
In its luggage, Arkane has now well-known franchises such as Dishonored and Prey. But while the Lyon teams are finishing the development of Deathloop scheduled for September 14 on PS5 and PC, another game has been talking about it for several months under a code name: Omen. It could be part of the new Xbox conference reveals, just like the open world game Project Typhoon.
Last January, Harvey Smith (Deus Ex, Dishonored …) confirmed that he was working on a new game with Arkane Austin, a new immersive-sim type game apparently planned for Xbox Series X | S and PC at least.
A few weeks ago, it was on the ResetEra forums that the rumor of an Arkane game with vampires appeared. The code name of the project would be “Omen” and could be revealed during this E3 with a release slated for next year. Just a few days ago, it was journalist Jez Corden who tweeted a vampire-shaped emoji, presumably to keep the hype going.
In any case, we will certainly not have to wait very long before getting to the bottom of it since the Xbox and Bethesda conference will be to be followed live on Xboxygen on Sunday, June 13 at 7 p.m. Bethesda could then have a moment dedicated to its studios in particular during the event which will not be missed!
