Cloud Gaming ensures that you can play Next-Gen games on, for example, the Xbox One at the same quality as on the Xbox Series X. This is because with Cloud Gaming the games are streamed, instead of the games running on the hardware of the console itself.
Xbox One players also get an added benefit from Microsoft. A number of games have already been released only for the Xbox Series X. These games will also be playable via Cloud Gaming on the Xbox One. This makes an upgrade to the new Xbox console slightly less necessary.
