According to Aaron Greenberg, Xbox couldn’t be happier with the performance of rhythm fighting game Hi-Fi Rush.
The rhythm fighting game Hi-Fi Rush is one of the surprise hits of the year and has already attracted over two million players just over a month after its release.
A success across the board, one might say. Video game journalist Jeff Grubb, who recently claimed in a podcast that commercial success had not materialized and that Hi-Fi Rush “didn’t make the money it needed,” takes a different view.
Xbox Games Marketing Vice President Aaron Greenberg now contradicts these statements. According to him, Hi-Fi Rush exceeded all expectations and Xbox couldn’t be happier with the work done by Tango Gameworks:
“Hi-Fi Rush has been a resounding success for us and our players in all key areas and expectations. We couldn’t be happier with what the team at Tango Gameworks has delivered with this surprising release.”
