That’s right, according to various reports, the Xbox is banishing consoles that use emulators in store mode.
As shared by the site VGC, Xbox began banning several Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles that use classic game emulators in store or “normal” mode. Prior to the ban, users are being temporarily suspended for 15 days, however, if usage continues, the entire console is banned from the Xbox Network.
With the ban on the Xbox Network, the console will be unusableas it will not be possible to access basic features such as friends list and achievements, as well as online games and streaming. The situation can get worse if you are an owner of an Xbox Series S, as the console does not contain a disc slot, preventing the installation of any games.
Remember that the Xbox already had closed the siege against emulators in retail mode, removing several softwares from the Xbox Store and removing them from accounts. However, Xbox has already received an “official emulator”, Antstream, with more than 1,300 classic games that run entirely in the cloud, click here to read more. Check out:
