We have, this weekend, joining a tradition with something completely new. THE Microsoft, as always, holds the first major conference at E3 2021, opening the doors of the event and starting the sequence of days of hype with a series of great advertisements, established franchises, news and surprises. At the same time, this is the first time she has held hands with Bethesda.

The company, which normally runs its own conference, is now part of Microsoft Studios, the roster of developers that develop exclusive titles for the Xbox platforms. And it is from this joining of forces that one of the heaviest presentations of E3 2021 should come out, and even one that has a single confirmed game so far and expectations for more underground.

In such a long-awaited presentation and full of established names, it is clear that the circle of rumors turned with force. And the main rumors related to the union between Microsoft and Bethesda is a franchise of the second: Starfield. the epic RPG The company’s space has been in development for a few years and has become the mainstay of recent rumours, with a highly anticipated presentation since its announcement in 2018.

We also have the only presence ever confirmed: Halo Infinite. Master Chief’s new game has divided opinions in the past and is now confirmed to Xbox One e Series X and S, it’s time to get the communication right and show the facet of the game that should become one of the great Microsoft calling cards in this generational transition, with a return to the origins of the saga that happens side by side with new mechanics and stories .

Old rumors, as always, reappear in this period of events. And here, we’re talking about other games from Microsoft’s portfolio that, announced or not, may appear to brighten this beginning of E3 2021. Among the names being aired are Age of Empires IV, Psychonauts 2, or mythical Forza Horizon situated in Japan and Avowed, Obsidian’s large-scale RPG.

Among those already announced, names are equally important. On the Bethesda side, we have four major titles in development that could very well earn their first images, release dates or more information during the showcase. Deathloop, scheduled to arrive on September 14th, it’s almost a drag, but what if we also have a reunion with Ghostwire: Tokyo, from Tango Gameworks, from horror master Shinji Mikami? Other names that may come up through Bethesda’s hands are the long-awaited The Elder Scrolls VI and also the new game of Indiana Jones, though in both cases we know we’re still in the early stages of development, which for players means overdoing our patience.

For Microsoft, we also have a list to consider. Perfect Dark drew a lot of attention for representing a return to the classic Nintendo 64 shooter, while Forza Motorsport, the eighth game in the racing simulation series, could appear to show potential graphics, controllers and gorgeous cars that we all know the Xbox maker is very fond of bringing to the stage.

We can’t forget names like State of Decay 3, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 e Everwild, which should make up a very varied future for Microsoft platforms.
