I also don’t quite understand why, now you can choose a folder and that was not possible before.

The trouble I also had and what some people forget is that the folder that contains my Microsoft games has its own rights (no idea why Microsoft does this) and that caused trouble in my case in the past.

Namely I install my games on a separate disk, and for convenience it’s also called Program Files, when I played Forza in the past it went to that disk.

Back to that separate permissions story, Steam and my other launchers suddenly couldn’t update games because the permissions of everything in that Program Files folder were changed, I remember what a hassle it was to delete that folder (safe mode did the trick, but it’s still ridiculous)

In any case, I will soon be able to choose my own folder, so that the folder with MS Store games doesn’t mess around with rights from others purely because they are all in the same folder.
