A Microsoft and Bethesda have an appointment with players this Wednesday (25). Starting at 5 pm, Brasilia time, the Xbox Developer Direct takes place, an online event that should bring news about some of the main titles for the company’s platforms, as well as conversations with some of the producers responsible for the biggest game proposals in the near future.
Between confirmed absences, such as Starfieldand guaranteed presence of names like Redfall, Forza Motorsport, The Elder Scrolls Online e Minecraft Legendsthe promise is a broadcast with the right to gameplays and interviews with developers.
The focus, as the name of the event already indicates, is on some of the main game developers for Xbox and PC, as well as possible new additions to the portfolio of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
The Xbox Developer Direct will air live on the official channels of Microsoft’s gaming division on YouTube and Twitch, as well as those from Bethesda. The content will also be available with simultaneous translation into Brazilian Portuguese and audio description resources.
Trailers and interviews will also be released separately after the broadcast, in 4K quality.
What to expect from the Xbox & Bethesda Developer Direct?
If the name is similar to that of the events in the Nintendo is an indication, the expectation is for an event with game trailers and new gameplay images presented directly by the developers.
Microsoft also often puts producers and directors on screen to speak directly about their titles, with production also focusing on the studios and people behind each title.
The event should last about 40 minutes and the company has already confirmed some of the titles that will be present at it. Redfall, Forza Motorsport e Minecraft Legends should receive attention during transmission, while The Elder Scrolls Online will have an exclusive space dedicated to the news soon after, in a special program presented by Bethesda.
Microsoft also confirmed that Starfield will not be part of this Wednesday’s broadcast. According to the company, the game, which is one of the biggest proposals for Xbox platforms in this first half, should receive an exclusive broadcast in the near future, whose details and date are yet to be released.
Floating in the rumor mill is a possible reveal of Ghostwire Tokyo for Xbox, with the right to arrive in Game Pass at launch. The game by Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil and director of Tango Gameworks, arrived in 2022 at PlayStation 5 and PC; the developer, however, is part of Bethesda, which makes the version taken for granted. Maybe she just doesn’t show up now.
The segment dedicated to Xbox Game Pass should also bring some news, but here related to titles already released that may join the service soon. The focus on developers, however, makes clear Microsoft’s ambition with the event, also leaving little room for speculation and rumors.

The Xbox Developer Direct takes place this Wednesday, January 25th, starting at 5:00 pm PDT. The event will be broadcast on the official profiles of Xbox e Bethesda on YouTube, as well as on the channels of both companies in Twitch and also in Facebook.
Regional channels will show localized versions of the presentation, with subtitles, translation and audio description.
