US Orléans would have its new coach. Since the announcement the departure of Claude Robin before the last game of the season against Laval, the Orleans club was looking for a new coach to replace him. Several names have circulated, such as those of the former coach of Châteauroux Nicolas Usaï Where that of Jura Sud Pascal Moulin most it would finally be Xavier Collin, former player of Gueugnon, Ajaccio or Montpellier who would have been chosen by the leaders of the USO.

According to our information, Xavier Collin should indeed become the new coach of the USO. Contacted by France Bleu Orléans, he tells us that there is “serious contacts with the club”, that he met the leaders of Orléans but that nothing has yet been signed. President Philippe Boutron is giving a press conference on Monday and Xavier Collin is well aware of this press conference. The current coach of Epinal, in Lorraine, affirms that “it is an ambitious project and the USO is a stronghold of professional football”

Xavier Collin, 47, has notably won a Coupe de la Ligue in 2000 with Gueugnon as a player, also gone through Montpellier where he played for three seasons before retiring. He then coached Béziers between 2011 and 2015 by raising the team to National.
