Xavier Babudar, Chiefs Superfan, Charged with Armed Robbery and Money Laundering

Xavier Babudarsuperfan of the Kansas City Chiefsis being charged by the federal prosecutor’s office for the Western District of Missouri, as it has three counts of armed bank robbery, one count of bank robbery, 11 counts of money laundering and four counts of transportation of property stolen across state lines.

Babudar is known as ChiefsAholic in the social networksas he often appeared on the Kansas City team broadcasts wearing a wolf gray suit for the games.

“Today’s government announcement of his 19 count indictment provides an unfair and unfair portrayal of Xaviar. The truth is that since 2018, Xaviar Babudar aka “ChiefsAholic” has entertained, inspired, unified and motivated the people of Kansas City,” Badubar’s attorney, Matthew T. Merryman, said in a statement.

According to Justice Departmentthe Kansas City Chiefs superfan, fled while on bail in Oklahoma after receiving $100,000 in winnings from an Illinois sportsbook.

Of note, Babudar was linked to six robberies and two attempted robberies over a nine-month period, from March 2, 2022, in Clive, Iowa, to December 16, 2022, in Bixby, Oklahoma.
