“Xabier Anduaga Makes Debut at the Met with Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore”

Xabier Anduaga debuts at the Met in New York with “L’elisir d’amore” by Donizetti

The tenor from San Sebastian Xabier Anduagaone of the most valued and appreciated voices of the moment, will make his debut in the iconic New York Metropolitan Operathis Thursday, April 13, with the opera The elixir of loveby Gaetano Donizetti.

Anduaga will appear in front of the public in The Big Apple for a total of five performances, in the well-known production by Bartlett Sher and with director Michele Gamba directing from the pit. The tenor’s Nemorino will be accompanied on stage by the soprano Aleksandra Kurzak as Adina, Joshua Hopkins as Belcore and Alex Esposito as Dulcamara, among others.
