X Gossip reports: Two Celebrities to Share Mask Singer Costume for the First Time

On April 14, Mask Singer will unveil its 5th season with new celebrities who promise to be surprising. And in this edition, two stars will even hide under the same costume. A great first.

Mask Singer is back ! On April 14, TF1 will launch the 5th season of the show featuring celebrities hidden under costumes. For this new edition, the first channel has renewed part of its team of investigators by welcoming Michele Bernier et Elodie Frege. The latter replace Vitaa and Chantal Ladesou, alongside Kev Adams and Jeff Panacloc. Another novelty: the golden prono.

As soon as an investigator thinks they’ve found which celebrity is hiding behind a costume, they can activate a giant kabuki that blasts golden confetti onto the set. He then writes the name in an envelope of which only the bailiff is aware. If the latter confirms a correct answer, not only the interviewer earns 5 points in the ranking of the best interviewerbut it can also share a hint with viewers. In case of failure, he will no longer have the right to use this asset.

Two celebrities for one character in Mask Singer

This year, Mask Singer will also have not two but three international stars in its cast. If two of them will perform a unique and out-of-competition performance for an evening, the third will hide among the competing characters. A great premiere which will not be the only surprise of this season 5. In addition to a casting which promises to be exceptional with participants displaying a prize list of more than 150 million records sold or tens of millions of cinema admissions and titles as prestigious as the Legion of Honor and an American Music Awards, the show will offer 17 costumes for 18 participants!

As Channel One revealed in a statement, two celebrities will hide under the character of the camel. “The most impressive in history” assured TF1. “We work with six different sewing workshops. Making a costume takes between 300 and 400 hours but for that of the camel, for example, it is necessary to count nearly 1000“, said the producer Anthony Meunier. Something to arouse curiosity.
