The audience and mentors decided that this time Patricija Spale and Daniels Širmanis will leave the show and not continue the fight for the main prize. On the other hand, Emilija Bērziņa won the audience sympathy award for the second week in a row.
This week’s musical theme was “good old songs”, so the audience could hear such favorite songs of the Latvian Golden Fund as “Dūdieviņš”, “Pērkons skrien debesīs”, “Pieklauvė” and “Buramdziesminu” by Imanta Kalniņas, as well as the best foreign musicians – Šēras , songs by Celine Dion, Cyndi Lauper and other musicians.
The singer Tipa from Liepāja, real name Tabita Balode, was brave in choosing the song “Knock” by the group “Bet Bet”, because the hit is loved and well known by everyone.
This created fear in music about how to do better, so as not to make a song already known to Latvian ears somehow repulsive.
Tipa revealed that the song “Knock” has been well known to her for a very long time and has become a favorite in a way. One cannot fail to mention that the hit is performed by one of the musician’s favorite Latvian voices – Zigfrīds Muktupāvels.
About the emotional message of the song, Tipa says that the main thing is to love and be loved, not to be afraid and to let go. “Each of us is an ordinary, simple person, we should be happy and survive, enjoy what we have been given.”
The musician hoped to show that songs in Latvian are just as beautiful, and you can express yourself in them just as beautifully as in other languages.

Reinis Sējans admitted that seeing the growth, but feels that the singer does not yet understand which way to go, because her voice has so many colors that still need to be arranged “on the shelves”.
Patricia Spale, who sang Cyndi Lauper’s song “True colors”, received the least audience support.
After her performance, the mentors spoke very favorably, as Intars Busulis admitted: “Such a colossal song! I felt like I was at a proper concert, I don’t even know what to recommend, I really liked it!”
Daniels Širmanis and Tipa fought for the chance to stay in the show with the help of the rescue act.
The mentors decided to give Tipa the opportunity to continue the fight for winning the show.
