The finalist of the fourth season of the show “X Factor” Olga Palushina, who has been using the stage name Palu for quite some time, has released a new song “Talk to me”. It was created together with young artists – producer and songwriter Patrika Peterson and musician Krišjāni Brasliņa.
The first version of the song “Talk to me” was created in the eighth session of the songwriting camp “RigaLive” organized by the association “Latvijas Mūzikas biedrības/Latvijas mūzikas eksports”.
“We met Patrika and Krišjāni exactly a year ago – at the “Riga Live” camp, where, it seems, we immediately felt that we spoke a similar language. That’s how the song was created – each of us putting in what we feel the most from ourselves,” recalls Palū. “The song reflects the feelings that overwhelm us all in autumn, when we want to curl up under a warm blanket and watch by candlelight how bright colors are replaced by grayness. It’s November and all we want to do is hug someone as tight as we can, look into their eyes and say how much, really much.”
It should be noted that a number of strong musicians participated in the recording of the song, including guitarist Rudolfs Ozols and drummer Artis Orubs.
