Moroccan Wydad’s qualification for the final of the African Champions League granted the Arabs a confirmed seat in the next Club World Cup, which is scheduled to be held at the end of this year.
The Kingdom will host the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in December.
Today, Saturday, Moroccan Wydad tied 2-2 in the South African Sundowns, in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals, after they tied 0-0 in the first leg, so the Casablanca team reserved its seat in the final, accompanied by Al-Ahly of Egypt.
Al-Ahly qualified for the final match by defeating Tunisia’s Esperance Club in the aggregate of the two matches, 4-0.
