Last May 31 in Monday Night RAW We saw Sheamus facing Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo in simultaneous matches. It was before the latter that “The Celtic Warrior” suffered damage to his nose as a result of having received a Jawbreaker. The meeting ended with a distraction from “The One and Only” that would bring victory to the Mexican.
Sheamus’ state of health was a topic of conversation in recent days when the fighter confirmed his septum injury. Fortunately, the United States champion seems to be out of danger after being hospitalized for a surgery. Sheamus uploaded two photographs to his Twitter account that confirmed his passage through the operating room and his successful recovery after undergoing a nose operation.
Mike Johnson de PWInsider provided details of this injury several days ago. “Sheamus suffered a broken nose from that hard blow from Humberto Carrillo, he broke it 100%. We are told that he will only be out of action if the company requires him to stay out. He’s a tough guy, obviously.” Johnson’s words and the apparent speed of recovery would tell us that “The Celtic Warrior” could return to the ring very soon.
Sheamus does not wish to vacate his title
The latest updates that Sheamus has left on social networks have been very direct when it comes to pointing out his desire not to vacate the United States Championship. Without going any further, the photos of his hospitalization included the message “#AndStill”, indicating that the reign that began at WrestleMania 37 will continue. As Johnson said, the final decision will rest in the hands of WWE, who could continue to use the wrestler at despite his injury.
