WWE NXT Full Results for December 09, 2020

This new episode of WWE NXT opens this Wednesday, December 09, 2020 from the Capitol Wrestling Center at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with the entry of NXT Champion Finn Balor. Microphone in hand, he says the WarGames are over, like teamwork time. The champion is back. Some love him, others hate him but if anyone wants… He is interrupted by the theme of Pete Dunne.

The latter joins him in the ring. Microphone in hand, he says they have a common journey. He crossed the ocean to be here and it was about time they came face to face. His title will soon be his. They are interrupted by the theme of Undisputed Era. Kyle O’Reilly makes his entry into the ring. He reminds Dunne that the Undisputed Era won the WarGames against his team and mocks Balor for breaking his jaw. He is interrupted by the theme of Damian Priest.

The latter realizes his entry and tells Balor that a match between them is a poster that everyone dreams of. Dunne laughs at him and says he couldn’t even beat Leon Ruff. Priest responds by telling Dunne that he is being paid by Pat McAfee to do his dirty work. The three men exchange spades and mockery. Finn Balor quietly leaves the ring. On the stage, he says he will defend his title on January 6 at New Year’s Evil. Against who ? It’s up to William Regal to decide.

The Karrion Kross theme rings out and Scarlett arrives on stage. Balor knows what she’s going to say, “tik tok”. When Kross is ready, Balor will be ready. The champion leaves the stage and Priest, from the ring, provokes Scarlett to conclude the segment.

Behind the scenes, Pete Dunne is attacked by Killian Dain during his interview.

Atlas pinches Scott quickly for the count of three and the win. After the match, Scott refuses to shake hands with Atlas as he is frustrated with the outcome.

A vignette / promo of Tommaso Ciampa is broadcast, in which he provokes Cameron Grimes. They will face each other later in the evening.

Behind the scenes, for an interview, Toni Storm speaks to Io Shirai and talks about her desire to become NXT Women’s Champion. Io Shirai arrives and says she doesn’t have a problem with Toni. But she doesn’t like him. Shirai attacks Storm and the two women fight backstage to the ring. Storm tries to flee before being attacked by Ember Moon, who throws her into the ring to allow Shirai to summon the Over The Moonsault.

Tommaso Ciampa bat Cameron Grimes

With Timothy Thatcher as a spectator, Ciampa assigned the Willow’s Bell to Grimes to rivet his shoulders and win the match. After the meeting, Ciampa and Thatcher provoke each other. Ciampa joins on the stage, while Grimes also taunts Thatcher, but the latter attacks him with an ankle lock.

An enigmatic new vignette with Boa and Xia Li is released.

New NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell and Austin Theory enter the ring. Microphone in hand, Gargano introduces everyone and says they are “The Way”. The segment quickly turns into a comedy between the four members of the group. Gargano claims he made history by becoming the first three-time North American Champion. As for Candice, she won the WarGames for the second year in a row. If he’s Mr. TakeOver, she’s Mrs. WarGames. Gargano and LeRae argue with the fans.

Gargano gives a gift imported from Italy to Candice. It’s a trophy with a doll head that looks like Shotzi Blackheat at the top. LeRae is touched but has no gift for Gargano. But he says he doesn’t need it, the only trophy he needs is the North American Championship. The group continued to brag about their successes until Damian Priest was interrupted. The latter provokes the group and rushes into the ring. However, he is attacked from behind by Karrion Kross, who throws him from the stage. Kross leaves and gets in the car with Scarlett before exiting the Performance Center parking lot.

Behind the scenes, Malcolm Bivens offers Tyler Rust to “talk business”. The latter accepts.

During the encounter, NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch attack Drake Maverick, distracting Dain. When he returns to the ring, Dunne attacks him and assigns him the Bitter End to rivet his shoulders and clinch the victory.

Behind the scenes, Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory interrupt Leon Ruff in his interview and challenge him in a 2-on-1 handicap match for next week. Kushida arrives and tells Ruff that if he needs a partner, it will be Kushida.

Gonzalez wears a single arm powerbomb on Moon for the count of three and victory. After the match, Toni Storm arrives in the ring and prepares to attack Moon but is interrupted by the theme of Rhea Ripley. The latter enters and pulls Moon out of the ring. Gonzalez asks Storm to leave the ring, while Ripley goes up. The two women stare at each other to conclude this episode of WWE NXT.
