After reviewing what happened last week, commentators Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix welcome us to a new edition of NXT.
1. Match
Singles Match
Candice LeRae won against Shotzi Blackheart via pin after a super twisting underhook neckbreaker.
Match time: 11:05
Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch & Pete Dunne arrive in an SUV in the hall.
NXT Champion Finn Balor is now heading into the ring for a promo. He talks about his win over Kyle O’Reilly the previous week and his future challengers. He is interrupted by Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch. Dunne says he saw Balor’s match against Kyle and he knew he would eventually step into the ring against the Irishman. Balor only holds the title because Dunne has not yet competed against him and taken the title from him. Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch & Pete Dunne eventually attack Balor together, whereupon Kyle O’Reilly wants to make the save. But even he has no chance against the majority and is dispatched. Ultimately, Adam Cole & Roderick Strong also come out and they manage to put their heels on the run.
McKenzie Mitchell interviews Johnny Gargano about his match against Dexter Lumis today. He announces that he and his wife will win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournaments. His loss to Kushida the previous week, he dismissed by wearing skinny jeans. Austin Theory joins and gives Gargano a gift from Dexter Lumis. There are some unflattering cartoons by Gargano & Theory.
The Grizzled Young Veterans are now making their way to the ring and NXT General Manager William Regal opens the sixth Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
2. Match
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic VI – 1. Runde – Tag Team Match
The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) gewannen gegen Ever-Rise (Chase Parker & Matt Martel) via Pin an Matt Martel nach dem Ticket to Mayhem.

A video package looks at Raquel Gonzalez’s win against Rhea Ripley the previous week. Gonzalez makes it clear that she’s after Io Shirai and the NXT Women’s Championship.
McKenzie Mitchell questions Shotzi Blackheart about her loss to Candice LeRae. Shotzi doesn’t want to let that get her down and now he wants to win the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, in which Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell will also take part. She introduces us to Ember Moon as her partner.
3. Match
(Non-Title) Singles Match
Johnny Gargano beat Dexter Lumis via pin after a roller coaster after Austin Theory caused a distraction.
Match time: 07:49
Dexter Lumis then takes Austin Theory into Kata Gatame until Johnny Gargano makes the save for his henchman. Gargano tries to hit Lumis with a chair, but Kushida rushes over. The Japanese puts Gargano into the hoverboard lock, while Lumis puts on the Kata Gatame against Theory again.
McKenzie Mitchell interviews Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch about what happened earlier. Danny Burch says they should set the tone here and let the Undisputed Era run their business. Dunne adds that it was time to take Kyle O’Reilly out.
Next up, we see a sitdown interview by Wade Barrett with Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher. The two will catch up on their pit fight match next week after Thatcher receives ring clearance from the doctors. Thatcher emphasizes that he is completely fit again. Barrett wants to know from Ciampa whether it was really a good idea to call for a pit fight against Thatcher of all people. Tommaso replies that sometimes you have to go to enemy territory to make a mark. At the end of the interview, the two opponents did some trash talk.
McKenzie Mitchell speaks to the Undisputed Era about Pete Dunne and Co.’s attack on Kyle O’Reilly. Adam Cole & Roderick Strong affirm that they have things under control.
Jake Atlas & Isaiah “Swerve” Scott are coming out for their first round match of Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic VI. Finally we find out who MSK is about: It is Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz who will from now on appear as Wes Lee & Nash Carter.
4. Match
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic VI – 1. Runde – Tag Team Match
MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) won against Jake Atlas & Isaiah “Swerve” Scott via pin to Scott after a double team blockbuster.
Match time: 08:36
A video package hypt the first Women’s Dusty Tag Team Classic. The tournament starts next week with the match Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs. Mercedes Martinez & Toni Storm
Now we see Scarlett reading cards. She tells us how Karrion Kross now turns to the prince (Finn Balor) after Damien Priest.
5. Match
Singles Match
Xia Li (w / Boa and the mysterious woman) won against a female jobber via pin after a cyclone kick.
Match time: 00:22
The mysterious woman calls on Xia Li to make another attack on her opponent. Li complies with the request and gives the nameless woman a knee strike.
Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter speak in a promo about the fact that they may be considered underdogs against Toni Storm & Mercedes Martinez, but they should not be underestimated.
Backstage, a brawl between Isaiah Scott and Jake Atlas is broken up by Steve Corino, Bronson Reed and some officials. Bronson Reed and Isaiah Scott deliver another star down.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic first round matches Lucha House Party vs. Imperium and Kushida & Leon Ruff vs. The Way (Austin Theory & Johnny Gargano) are announced for the coming week. In addition, the fight pit match between Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa will be rescheduled.
6. Match
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic VI – 1. Runde – Tag Team Match
The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole & Roderick Strong w / Kyle O’Reilly) won against Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) via pin to Tyler Breeze by Adam Cole after a super kick.
Match time: 11:57
– Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch & Pete Dunne showed up during the match and attacked Kyle O’Reilly. Finn Balor tried to make the save, but the heels prevailed. Adam Cole was briefly distracted, but could still decide the match in favor of the Undisputed Era.
Adam Cole takes care of injured Kyle O’Reilly after the match. Paramedics rush over to check on O’Reilly. This is the end of the show.
