WWE NXT 2.0 #7 : „Halloween Havoc“

In the intro, Chucky explains to us that a slightly more brutal and dark episode of NXT 2.0 awaits us today. The red-haired doll presents us the matchcard and wishes us Happy Halloween.
Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix greet us in the hall. The ring is already filled with their challengers, so Io Shirai and Zoey Stark, the reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, head into the ring, where our first title match of the evening is already starting.
1. Match
NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship
„Scareway To Hell“ Ladder Match
Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) won against Io Shirai & Zoey Stark (c) and Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta via stipulation, as Gigi Dolin could solve the title -> Title change!
Match time: 13:10
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams accept the invitation from Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis, which leads them to a lonely church in the middle of nowhere. In the car, the two discuss whether they should really get out, but Hayes insists and ultimately prevails. After all, he wants his golden treasure back. Hayes and Williams make their way through a small wood, where some surprises await them. Johnny Gargano, who had help from a zombie referee with the construction, and Dexter Lumis watch their guests approach until they finally reach an old barn. To be continued …
Gray-ve Dracula aka. Grayson Waller introduces himself as the new host for tonight’s show because LA Knight just didn’t show up for no reason. Waller is interrupted by Joe Gacy. He calls Halloween a festival of the weak and that violence is no solution, he will now prove to his opponent Malik Blade.
2. Match
Singles Match
Joe Gacy won against Malik Blade via pin after the handspring lariat.
Match time: 2:10
– In images from various surveillance cameras, we see Harland entering the hall in the best Michael Myers manner. Once there, he grabs Blade, but lets go of him again, which is why the referee probably refrains from disqualification.
Afterwards, Gacy reassures Harland and lets him know that he can trust him. They leave the hall together.
Kay Lee Ray complains about the lack of respect for her. That makes her angry and now it is time to “stand out”.
Grayson Waller welcomes the guests to his Halloween party. There he interacts with various superstars, including trying to find out whether Ikemen Jiro and Kushida have disguised themselves, but they have no idea what it is about and leave. In another corner, Cameron Grimes tackles two women with a rather mediocre pick-up line, but remains unsuccessful, whereupon Waller tries to build him up and motivate him to make further attempts.
In the hall, Malcolm Bivens goes into the ring with the Diamond Mine. He issues an open invitation and offers that the next one in the ring will be defeated by Ivy Nile, the Creed Brothers or Roderick Strong. The result is Odyssey Jones, who announces the challenge to Roderick Strong, before Bivens makes it clear that this will not be about the Cruiserweight Championship.
3. Match
(Non-Title) Singles Match
NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong (w / Diamond Mine: Malcolm Bivens, Ivy Nile, Brutus & Julius Creed & Hachiman) won against Odyssey Jones via pin after a jumping knee strike. Before that, the Creed brothers created a distraction.
Match time: 3:57
Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner stand for the interview and make it clear in German and Italian that tonight is their evening and they will later take the tag team gold from MSK.
Back at the Halloween party. Tony D’Angelo gets an appearance on “Lashing Out With Lash Legend”, while Duke Hudson found a challenger for his poker room in Cameron Grimes. Robert “Elvis” Stone behaves terribly because Xyon Quinn must have stepped on his shoes. Quinn makes short work of him and chokeslam Stone through the richly set buffet table. Grayson Waller believes this is the best Halloween party ever.
Tomasso Ciampa is preparing backstage for today’s title match.
Chucky the killer doll turns the “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal” wheel and it lands on the “Chucky’s Choice” field. He would like to see a “Trick or Street Fight” match from the women. There is no disqualification or count-outs outside the ring, but the decision must be made between the ropes.
4. Match
NXT Women’s Championship
„Trick or Street Fight“
Mandy Rose won against Raquel González (c) via pin after a bicycle knee strike -> Title change!
Match time: 11:55
– Before the finish, a hooded figure appeared and knocked González down with a shovel. Rose was able to use this to win.
Celebrate Toxic Attraction on stage, because with this victory they hold the entire portfolio of women’s titles at NXT. In the ring, the masked person stands over the dejected González and lifts his disguise. Dakota Kai emerges, who triumphs over González.
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams search their way through an old building, where they run into numerous strange characters. In one room they feel downright being followed or on a hunt, whereby Andre Chase is materialized in this room and asks in a familiar manner who just said his name. By way of explanation, he states that he is on an excursion with his students, but that he has lost them all. He joins Hayes and Williams and moves forward from now on. In the meantime, the three are separated from each other because Chase and Hayes are kidnapped by creepy characters, but Hayes and Williams find each other again, which happens so suddenly that Williams is frightened and gives his buddy a blow. However, there is no longer anything to be seen of Andre Chase. Eventually the two reach the NXT North American Championship, which is displayed on a table. Hayes seizes his property and suddenly Lumis and Gargano appear behind them, and they are driven out of the house. Outside, the survivors flee from some zombies, before Gargano reappears, prepares the two of them with some flashbacks of what they have just experienced via “Boo!”, Whereupon they take their legs and run away screaming. Gargano and Lumis stand in front of the property and all the creatures join them, which is why Gargano notes that Lumis’ home is a bit strange. He would like to celebrate at the Gargano estate next Halloween. For this he gets the thumbs up from both Lumis and the creatures.
Dracula Grayson Waller is back in the ring and calls on you to follow him on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat. Seconds later he is interrupted by LA Knight, who is wearing the identical costume as Waller. Because now the show can finally begin. Waller replies that it was not his fault that Knight had problems with his car, which made him prick up his ears because no one had spoken of this before. Before the two can discuss this matter out, Solo Sikoa makes his debut on NXT 2.0 and walks into the ring. There he faces the two Draculas before Knight Waller meets the third Uso brother. He doesn’t take long to be asked and Waller clears it off in no time at all.
Bron Breakker prepares backstage for the NXT Championship Match under the supervision of Chucky.
DJ Tommy Carlucci hangs up and MSK celebrate their move. Empire follows and Chucky is allowed to spin the wheel again. However, he gives the honor to the NXT 2.0 Fan of the Night, who is with Samantha Irvine. Alex, as his name is, turns the disc and the result is … a “Lumberjack O’Lantern” match. The ring is surrounded by (costumed) superstars who are supposed to keep the events in the ring.

„Lumberjack O’Lantern“ Match
Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) won against MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) (c) via pin from Fabian Aichner to Wes Lee after the Imperial Bomb -> Title change!
Match time: 13:11
Europeans celebrate their triumph under fireworks in the middle of the ring.
Chucky presents us with a video package for today’s main event between Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker.
6. Match
NXT Championship
Singles Match
Tommaso Ciampa (c) won against Bron Breakker via pin after the second Fairytale ending.
Match time: 13:49
– Breakker suffered a wound on his head during a DDT on the exposed hall floor outside the ring.
Ciampa receives his title seated in the ring while looking at the Bron Breakker lying next to him. This has now been Ciampa’s first opponent to escape the cover attempt after a fairytale ending. Today’s episode of NXT 2.0 ends soon after Ciampa’s title win!
