WWE Monday Night RAW #1460

Monday Night RAW kicks off this week with “All Mighty” WWE Champion Lashley. This is probably ready for a big celebration and with several pretty ladies on the road.
Last night Lashley successfully defended his title against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman. MVP is ready in the ring and announces the dominant champion. The music starts playing and Lashley comes out with the women and looks very happy accordingly. We now see the highlights of the Triple Threat Match and the decisive Spear against Strowman.
MVP talks about Lashley’s big win and notes that Lashley was injured. His fist injury comes from the many blows in the faces of his opponents. Actually, Lashley would have been free today, instead there is an “Open Challenge” to the Locker Room! Immediately the music of Drew McIntyre sounds and he comes into the ring ready to fight. The Scot is absolutely convinced that you have to offer the women a great match. So he accepts the challenge and wants the title match. However, MVP was unable to pronounce and says that everyone can participate, except for Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre. Suddenly the champion wants to launch an attack. This attack is repulsed by Drew and the WWE Champion has to withdraw. With a star down, the commentators show us what to expect today. AJ Styles meets Elias and Alexa Bliss awaits the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in their “Playground”.
After the interruption, Bobby Lashley’s “Open Challenge” will be made official. All but Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman are allowed to participate. The music of RAW Tag Team Champion AJ Styles sounds and the first match of the evening can start.
1. Match
Singles Match
AJ Styles (w / Omos) won against Elias (w / Jaxson Ryker) via disqualification after Jaxson Ryker attacked him.
Match time: 11:45
After the match, Ryker wants to beat AJ, but Omos makes the save. Meanwhile, Elias takes the opportunity and continues to attack Styles. When Omos sees this, Elias disappears quickly before he can get his hands on him.
Alexa Bliss and Lily are really looking forward to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Especially Lily can’t wait.
Tomorrow night Johnny Gargano will have to defend his NXT North American Championship against Bronson Reed in a steel cage match.
We see highlights from last week’s 8 Man Tag Team Match. After a successful match, Randy Orton RKOs both Kingston and Woods. Backstage, Riddle organized a meeting between New Day and Randy Orton. He wants to bury the complications between the men and suggests an apology from the Viper. Orton doesn’t want to know anything about it. Kingston is not surprised and knows that the “Apex Predator” simply cannot be trusted. Instead, he challenges him to a match, which the “Viper” also accepts.
It’s time for “Alexa’s Playground”. She has Tamina and Natalya as guests and the latter talks about the big win at Smackdown. It was a great moment, especially for Tamina. This won her first title in her career. Tamina seems rather nervous and wants to go. Alexa is talking more and more to Lily and less to her guests. Tamina ends the interview with the promise to win the rematch today. After the champions disappear, Alexa notes that she wants to take a closer look at the match. The segment comes to an end with these images.
2. Match
Singles Match
Angel Garza won against Drew Gulak via pin after the wing clipper.
Match time: 02:13
After the match, Garza grabs his rose again, this time putting it in Gulak’s mouth. Then he disappears with a big grin on his face.
24/7 Champion R-Truth is backstage with Kevin Patrick. In the background you can see Akira Tozawa, who slowly approaches, rolls up Truth and wins the title! -> Title change!
Randy Orton plays music and he and Riddle come out to his match against Kofi Kingston.
Another video advertises Eva Marie’s return to WWE.
3. Match
Singles Match
Kofi Kingston won against Randy Orton (w / Riddle) via pin after a scooter.
Match time: 05:12
– Randy Orton let himself be distracted by Xavier Woods in front of the roller coaster
After the match, Orton is beside himself and wants to attack Kingston. However, Riddle intervenes and this leads to a little tussle. This causes Riddle to knock Woods to the ground. After that, both Randy and Riddle disappear backstage.
Lana, Naomi, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke have all met in Adam Pearce’s office. Both teams are upset that there is a rematch for Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler today. The women want a tag team title match. Suddenly Charlotte Flair joins us and has a private concern for Sonya Deville. Deville promises to take care of the ladies’ concerns. With these words the scene clears and the “Queen” brings her concerns forward. She demands a title match against Rhea Ripley. Pearce cannot understand this. After all, flair lost it last night. Deville can only promise to talk it through with Pearce. RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley arrives and is ready to defend the title against “new” opponents. For them, Charlotte is the past and it is finally time for the future. Charlotte is unfazed and promises to take the title from Ripley.
4. Match
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
Tamina & Natalya (c) won against Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (w / Reginald) via pin to Shayna Baszler by Natalya after the Hart Attack.
Match time: 03:14
-During the match, Reginald wanted to intervene. Suddenly Alexa Bliss showed up and fire sprayed from the corner of the ring, which distracted Baszler. Natalya and Tamina took advantage of this to defend the title.
After the match everyone involved is confused and you can hear Lily laughing in the hall.
Sheamus grabs a microphone before the match and is very angry. He accuses Ricochet of stealing his coat and hat. The latter should come out immediately and hand over the things. Meanwhile, Ricochet is interviewing Sarah Schreiber and the two of them watch the highlights from the kick-off show of “Wrestlemania Backlash”. Ricochet had a lot of fun yesterday and wants to build on that today and win the match. He can’t say anything about the accusation, but rather wants to show it. He disappears briefly and reappears with the coat and hat from the Irishman. Then Ricochet makes his way to the ring.
At his entrance Ricochet is immediately attacked by Sheamus, but can repel the stormy attack and run into the ring. After both men have arrived, the referee rings the bell for the match.
5. Match
(Non-Title) Singles Match
Sheamus won against Ricochet via pin after the brogue kick.
Match time: 13:28
After the match, Sheamus grabs his coat, hat and microphone. The Irishman is satisfied with the US belt. However, the other shoulder feels a little light. That is why he makes it clear that he may later accept Lashley’s “Open Challenge”.
Mace and T-Bar make it clear their ambition to accept Bobby Lashley’s Open Challenge.
6. Match
Singles Match
Asuka won against Charlotte Flair via pin after an inside cradle.
Match time: 16:45
-Rhea Ripley came out to see the match up close.
With that, Charlotte is moving away from a possible title match. Ripley can’t help but grin. Meanwhile, Asuka celebrates this great victory and can probably compete for a title match again.
John Morrison is with Kevin Patrick and talks about the zombie lumberjacks in Wrestlemania Backlash. He can’t really explain what happened, but what happened really got The Miz down. That’s why John Morrison will dedicate his match today to Miz.
7. Match
Lumberjack Match
Damien Priest won against John Morrison via pin after the hit the Lights.
Match time: 12:08
– The Lumberjacksw included MACE, T-BAR, The Viking Raiders, WWE 24/7 Champion Akira Tozawa, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik, Titus O’Neil, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Mansoor, Mustafa Ali, and Nikki Cross
– Cedric Alexander attacked Shelton Benjamin during the match, causing a big brawl.
Sarah Schreiber immediately takes the opportunity to ask Priest a few questions. When asked what the future looks like, Priest indicates that he will accept Bobby Lashley’s “Open Challenge”. The “All Mighty” is already busy warming up and after the break it will be time for the main event of today’s show.
Kevin Patrick has Shelton Benjamin as a guest and asks him about Cedric Alexander. Benjamin doesn’t want to know anything about Alexander, but rather interested in talking about the “Open Challenge”. But Cedric doesn’t want to miss out on interrupting Benjamin and pointing out that Benjamin’s time is over and that his victory against Alexander was just a coincidence. But Shelton can no longer be annoyed and knocks Cedric to the ground with a punch. The latter remains lying on the ground in shock.
The commentators look back at the beginning of the show. Drew McIntyre wanted to accept the challenge and face Lashley. However, he and Strowman were taken out of the “Open Challenge”.
The “All Mighty” WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is on his way to the ring. MVP now has a microphone in hand and awaits the challenger. The music of New Day is playing! Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods come out and apparently Kingston will accept the challenge and try to create Kofimania # 2. Everything is ready for the WWE Championship Match. But MVP has something else to say. This whole championship thing is nice, but there was never any talk of a title match. Kofi is of course disappointed, but still ready for the upcoming match.
8. Match
(Non-Title) Singles Match
Kofi Kingston (w / Xavier Woods) won against Bobby Lashley (w / MVP) via pin after a scooter.
Match time: 10:53
– MVP wanted to hit Kingston with his cane, but Drew McIntyre prevented it. Lashley was distracted by this and curled up by Kofi Kingston.
After the match, Kofi Kingston can be celebrated. After all, he defeated both Randy Orton and reigning WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in one evening. Lashley, of course, is unhappy with the way the match has gone and looks angrily at Woods, Kingston and McIntyre. Today’s issue goes off-air with these images.
