The show begins with commentators Kevin Patrick and Byron Saxton welcoming us to today’s edition of the WWE Main Event from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Then the first match of the evening begins.

1. Match
Singles Match
Apollo Crews defeated T-Bar via pin after the Samoan Drop.
Match time: 4:30

The first recap of the evening shows us the recent history between the Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) and RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle). The Usos challenged the reigning RAW Tag Team Champions to unify the two championships. RK-Bro then attended Friday Night SmackDown and accepted the challenge. As a foretaste of the tag team clash, we got the Riddle vs. Jimmy Uso match, which the former UFC fighter won.

We’re sticking with Friday Night SmackDown. Drew Gulak tried his hand at broadcasting and interviewed Charlotte Flair. After noting that Charlotte tapped Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 38, the SmackDown Champion applied a figure 8 leg lock to him.

At the last edition of Monday Night RAW, the new team, consisting of Edge and Damien Priest, issued a challenge to AJ Styles. WrestleMania Backlash is set to see the two veterans rematch. That same night, AJ Styles accepts the challenge but gets a beatdown for it.

On Monday Night RAW, we got Sonya Deville’s explanation of why she attacked Bianca Belair and secured the title match for herself. We will already see this match next Monday.

Now we see the fight between Finn Bálor and Theory for the United States Championship. Theory won the title for the first time in his career and then celebrated with his mentor, Vince McMahon.

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Cedric Alexander via pin after the Fairytale ending.

-This may have been the best WWE Main Event match of 2022.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins’ rematch was officially confirmed last week.

This week Cody Rhodes had to face an opponent he didn’t know and handpicked by Seth Rollins. Out came Kevin Owens. However, he lost via count out because he lost interest during the match and was counted out.
