WWE launches WWE ID for independent wrestlers

WWE has just announced the launch of a development program called WWE ID, for WWE Independent Development, intended for independent wrestlers wishing to pursue a career within WWE.

In a press release, Triple H emphasizes that this program aims to “support promising wrestlers” and “strengthen the independent wrestling ecosystem”.

Several independent wrestling schools will participate in this WWE program, including Reality of Wrestling, Nightmare Factory, Black and Brave Academy, Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center and KnokX Pro Academy. Schools that belong to Bookert T, Cody Rhodes or even Seth Rollins.

WWE specifies that this program will aim to identify the best independent talents and will offer them world-class facilities as well as professional coaches. In addition, content will be broadcast on WWE social networks to allow fans to follow these talents.

In 2021, WWE had launched WWE NIL for college athletes.
