WWE Friday Night SmackDown #1160

At the beginning of the show, the commentators greet the TV viewers as usual and point out today’s main event between Roman Reigns and Xavier Woods. Then a review of the previous program of the two is played. Michael Cole informs the audience that Kofi Kingston sustained an injury in last week’s Bloodline attack and was not present today.
Sonya Deville is now in the ring and individually calls out the participants from SmackDown for the Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. After Sasha Banks comes to the ring as the leader, Deville takes up the tension between Sasha and Shotzi. She asks the two to get together in favor of SmackDown. After Banks has entered the ring, however, a fight almost breaks out between the two opponents, which the remaining members can laboriously stop. Suddenly Naomi storms to the ring and goes after Deville, whereupon chaos breaks out in the ring and fists fly between Sasha and Shotzi.
1. Match
6-Woman Tag Team Match
Sasha Banks, Naomi & Aliyah won against Shayna Baszler, Natalya & Shotzi via Pin from Aliyah to Natalya after a rollup.

In the backstage area, Sami Zayn motivates herself with a speech in front of the mirror. He describes himself as the leader of Team SmackDowns. Suddenly Jeff Hardy appears behind him and laughs at Zayn. When asked by Zayn, Hardy reiterated that, in his opinion, the speech was very bad.
Aliyah also celebrates her win from the opener backstage. She is happy to have won her first match and to be part of the Survivor Series team. However, Sonya Deville interrupts her and is skeptical about her acquaintance with Naomi. So Deville announces that Aliyah will not be part of Team SmackDown in the Survivor Series. In addition, Deville believes that another person advised and instructed her on this decision.
After another review of the events between the Bloodline and New Day, Kayla Braxton stops Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in the backstage area. Reigns suggests that Braxton could only have come to her for two reasons. She either wanted to acknowledge Reigns or flirt with the “wise man”. However, nobody cares what Braxton wants. So Reigns immediately disappears and leaves the field to Heyman. Heyman says the stakes for today’s main event have just increased. So the loser must now fall on his knees in front of the winner. The stipulation has already been legally tied down. If Reigns is disregarded, he could even lose his title and be suspended.
2. Match
Tag Team Match
Los Lotharios (Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo) won against Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs via pin from Carrillo to Nakamura after a springboard high kick / legsweep combination.

Backstage, Adam Pearce is in his office with Sonya Deville and the NXT wrestler Von Wagner. Pearce asks Deville why she removed Aliyah from Team SmackDown. Deville replies that this decision has strengthened the team. She advises Pearce that he should make a similar decision about the men and leaves the room. As called, Sami Zayn shows up, who complains to Pearce about Jeff Hardy. Consequently, Pearce starts a match between Zayn and Hardy, in which the loser is removed from the SmackDown team.
Back in the hall, Charlotte Flair goes to the ring for an interview. Meanwhile, the commentators talk about their match against Becky Lynch in the Survivor Series and the controversy between the two over the title swap, about which they make certain allusions and also touch on certain reports. Flair doesn’t take long in the ring and pokes at Lynch. Nothing about Lynch is natural. Charlotte pokes fun at the nicknames, catchphrases, and even Becky’s dyed orange hair, saying that everything about her is fake. Even her status as a champion is only bowled over. Becky also only won the main event of WrestleMania 35 because of Charlotte’s participation. After the Survivor Series, however, Lynch will have a new nickname: Becky Uh Oh. In cooperation with the fans, Charlotte tries to establish this new nickname immediately.
Charlotte now also wants to claim a new nickname for herself. Because after Shotzi stood in the ring with her, she became a star. As soon as someone stood in the ring with Charlotte, she would become a star. Therefore one should call Charlotte “Star Maker” in the future. Now the theme of Toni Storm sounds, who ironically picks up on Charlotte’s promo. Charlotte claims that she generously distributes offers for title matches and helps the younger generation, but in truth all of this is not true. Storm points out that Lynch recently jeopardized her title on Raw ahead of the Survivor Series. Charlotte, on the other hand, has not defended her title once since moving to SmackDown. That’s why Storm calls for a title match for today’s show. Charlotte quickly rejects this challenge and disappears from the ring.
Backstage, Xavier Woods is available for an interview with Kayla Braxton. This informs the king of the stipulation announced by Heyman for tonight. After a few loosely held slogans about the stipulation, Woods takes off his crown and becomes serious. He mentions Kofi Kingston’s injury and the attack on Big E on Raw. It was a tough week for New Day. However, he will clot the bloodline today and prove to Reigns who the real king is.
In another segment, Aliyah is on the phone in the backstage area and complains about being kicked out of the SmackDown team. Mustafa Ali joins them and wants to give Aliyah some advice. However, Ricochet now interferes and calms Aliyah. He says that your loss of space on the team is not that important. Instead, she should focus on the fact that she had a great performance in the match today. Aliyah is flattered by the compliment and leaves the scene together with Ricochet, while the left Ali looks after them in amazement.
3. Match
Singles Match – Loser Leaves Survivor Series Team
Jeff Hardy won against Sami Zayn via pin after the Swanton Bomb.

A Hit Row promo video is played in which members rap about their move to SmackDown, the culture and their sneakers. Then backstage to Jinder Mahal and Shanky, who make fun of Hit Row. Mahal thinks “The Real Slim Shanky” and “Ice Ice Shanky” are a much better rapper. He promptly lets hear a few verses in Punjabi. Mahal follows him with the sacrilege of a rap that is so pathetic that it could be used as an insult to the entire genre. This is followed by a few no less disgusting dance interludes that actually don’t deserve the name either. A corruption of Hit Row’s bar name with the German youth word of the year – which also fits this segment appropriately – to “Cringe Row” lets this segment – also almost exactly to the day of St. Martin’s Day – end mercifully at some point.
After a vignette on Xia Li, Kayla Braxton has another NXT climber on the microphone with Ridge Holland. He continues to sing his praises of his idol and hero Sheamus. Despite decades of martial arts tradition, Holland obviously never knew that fighting and adding pain to other people can make a living. Because according to his own statement it was Sheamus who opened his eyes and showed him the way. He has now taken this path and proudly wants to follow in Sheamus’ footsteps. Cesaro interrupts the slime and points to his past with his former partner Sheamus. He warns Holland of a possible partnership with Sheamus. However, he is enthusiastic about the idea of a team with Sheamus and says that they would be a much better team than The Bar ever was. He will take Cesaro’s place at Sheamus’ side. Holland informs Cesaro that Sheamus will be there in person next week and that Cesaro will be able to speak to him himself.
4. Match
Non-Title Singles Match – Loser Must Bend The Knee
Xavier Woods beat Roman Reigns (w / Paul Heyman) via DQ after the Usos pulled him out of the ring.
Match time: 10:18
After Woods had almost won the match with a possibly winning cover, those outside the ring now attack Woods and throw him against the ring stairs. Then they grab Woods ‘crown and place it on Reigns’ head, while Reigns kneels in the ring and has technically fulfilled the stipulation of the match. The members of the Bloodline pose together in the ring and savor their successful plan. So the show goes off air.
