After looking back at the past week, Cesaro walks into the ring. Before he can speak, however, he is interrupted by Seth Rollins. Rollins says he wants to congratulate Cesaro on finally reaching his full potential. The only reason for this was the Mania Match against him, according to the new “Mr. WrestleMania “. Rollins would like Cesaro to finally thank him for the performance, but the Swiss would like to leave Rollins behind and look ahead. Afterward, Rollins complains that the rain and delay were to blame for the defeat, and Cesaro asks him if he’s ready for another match today. Rollins wants to take up the challenge, but Jey Uso’s music stops him.
Uso says that Cesaro is not Reigns’ level and that is why his challenge is not accepted by Reigns. Before Uso steps into the ring, Rollins tells him that they are going to teach Cesaro a lesson together. However, there will be another interruption because Daniel Bryan comes into the ring. He provokes the heels while Rollins and Uso withdraw. Bryan praised Cesaro over the green clover until Roman Reigns made the fourth break in the segment with Paul Heyman. Reigns insults Bryan, saying he’s at the bottom half of the possible challenger. Reigns calls Bryan and Cesaro losers before pulling out.
1. Match
Tag Team Match
Cesaro & Daniel Bryan won against Seth Rollins & Jey Uso via pin to Uso by Bryan after the running knee strike.
Match time: 19:16
– Before the finish, Rollins let his partner down.
After the match, Bryan calls Reigns into the ring, while Uso is swung by Cesaro. After 11 spins he lets go of him and Bryan says ironically what a great family man Reigns is who doesn’t help his cousin. He asks Cesaro if he can swing Uso again. No sooner said than done and Uso is shot 20 times. Bryan provokes Reigns and says that he is afraid of him because he cannot win a singles match against him because he needs help.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville talk backstage until Apollo Crews and Commander Aziz join them. Crews demands that Big E should not get a rematch. Pearce says that E is entitled to this and that he might run into crews. If he defends his title against Kevin Owens today. The segment ends with a star down.

Singles Match
Tamina (w / Natalya) won against Nia Jax (w / Shayna Baszler) via pin after a roller.
Match time: 02:40
– Before finishing, Reginald stumbled on the ring stairs. This distracted Jax so much that Tamina could curl her up.
Kevin Owens is interviewed backstage about his upcoming Intercontinental Championship match. Owens says he waited a long time for the opportunity. Big E arrives and tells Owens that he pushed his way forward. He should be in the match today, not Owens. He agrees that he should get a rematch. But today is his chance and he will implement it. The segment ends with a laugh from both of them before Owens leaves.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Singles Match
Apollo Crews (w / Commander Aziz) won against Kevin Owens via pin after a scooter, previously Aziz caused a distraction.
Match time: 12:28
– During the match Sami Zayn went to the commentators.
After the match, Owens can show a stunner against crews. Then he is dispatched by Aziz, who gives him a Samoan spike, which Michael Cole calls the Nigerian Nail. Then Sami Zayn comes into the ring and dances over the knocked out Owens.
Backstage, Paul Heyman is interviewed by Kayla Braxton. The Reigns spokesman says Cesaro has grown in fame despite having only one name. Heyman promises Reigns will announce a decision today.
In another backstage segment, Apollo Crews is interviewed by the new backstage interviewer Megan Morant. According to crews, his relatives jumped in the air for joy that he was defending his title. Suddenly he is attacked by Big E. Multiple referees and officials can separate Crews and Big E, and Commander Aziz intervenes.
Michael Cole introduces a video by Aleister Black. The Dutchman is celebrating his return to the TV shows sitting in a room. He wants to read the truth and takes a book. He says Chapter 1 is titled “The Dragon”. He talks about funerals that he witnessed as a child. According to his father, these are the celebrations of life and death. During that time, his father moved away from him and instead of teaching him how to kill the dragon, he taught him to be the dragon. The video ends with Black telling the audience that you are turning your children into bigger monsters.
Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler are interviewed backstage. Kayla Braxton wants to ask her who the next challengers will be, but the Street Profits come along. Ford asks the duo if they’ll get a chance next. Ziggler says they should get in line because they lost last week. Staredown follows until Bayley arrives and the teams disappear. Bayley says she is the role model par excellence as the SmackDown Women’s Champion with the longest reign. She then talks about Belair, which thanks to Bayley has become safer and can now call the title her own. Since she has received no thanks from her, Bayley will get this at “WrestleMania Backlash” by winning the title. Montez Ford comes back and has his partner on the phone. He tells Bayley that Belair will be there soon and that they should speak again.
After a short wait, Belair comes to Bayley and demands that she repeat what she says and look at her. Of course, Bayley doesn’t and congratulates Belair on her historic moment. She is happy to be the first challenger. Bayley withdraws and Belair is surprised because she expected something different. Suddenly Bayley returns, laughs, and disappears again.

Tag Team Match
Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio won against Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) via Pin to Gable by Rey Mysterio after the 619 / Frog Splash combination.
Match time: 11:50
While Cesaro and Daniel Bryan make their way into the ring, the Intercontinental Championship Match between Apollo Crews and Big E is announced for the next week.
Once there, they wait for Roman Reigns to answer. Cesaro says he’ll get an answer either here or in the Reigns room and he leaves him open where he’ll give the answer. Roman Reigns goes into the ring with his entourage and tells Cesaro that he doesn’t deserve to get a title chance. As “Chief Head of the Table” he can determine who can challenge him. Reigns turns to Bryan and offers him a title match in the next week. However, there is a small catch for Bryan. Should he lose, then he must exit SmackDown. Bryan accepts the challenge and the show ends with a star down.
