Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the Christmas edition of “Friday Night SmackDown” before the first of the three title matches starts immediately.
1. Match
WWE Universal Championship
Steel Cage Match
Roman Reigns (c) (w / Paul Heyman) won against Kevin Owens via Escape after Kevin Owens was handcuffed to the cage by Jey Uso and Roman Reigns calmly walked out the door.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair & Asuka come to the ring for their championship match. They will defend the titles today against Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair and Bayley & Carmella. Charlotte explains that with Asuka and Flair’s return to SmackDown, Santa has been especially busy this year. The two are interrupted by Bayley, who talks about their successful year. She, in turn, is interrupted by her former best friend Sasha Banks, who brings herself over as the current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. Banks’ current partner Bianca Belair comes out and shows how good she is. At the end, Carmella also comes to the ring and describes her current opponents as “witches” before she improves and says “bitches”. For her part, she over-looks before Carmella and Sasha Banks have a brief physical altercation.

Triple Threat Elimination Tag Team Match
Charlotte Flair & Asuka (c) won against Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair and Bayley & Carmella.

– Order of eliminations:
1. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair eliminated Bayley & Carmella (w / Reginal Thomas) via a pin by Sasha Banks against Bayley after a frog splash. (13:03).
2. Charlotte Flair & Asuka eliminated Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair via Pin by Charlotte Flair against Bianca Belair after the Codebreaker by Asuka and the Natural Selection by Flair. In addition, Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair were distracted by Bayley & Carmella, who were still at the ring. (16:55).
Backstage, the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) hype the rest of the show before hearing an angry Sami Zayn. He speaks to a person on the social media team, a few meters from the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and asks them who is responsible for the lumberjack stipulation that was announced on social media during the week. When Zayn threatens her that she can’t just run off in silence and shrugging, the person runs away in silence and shrugging. Zayn turns around and sees the Street Profits who are handing him a present: Sami Zayn’s “I AM THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION” shirt, with “I AM THE” pasted with “I WAS”. Sami first laughs with the street profits, before loudly declaring that this is not funny.
Daniel Bryan is attacked by Jey Uso during his entrance and has to take a body slam on the ramp. After a commercial break, we see an official taking care of Bryan and wanting to cancel the match. However, this indicates that he will play the match.
3. Match
Singles Match
Daniel Bryan won against Jey Uso via pin after a running knee.
Match time: 13:41
In a backstage interview with Kayla Braxton, Daniel Bryan announced that he would be participating in the Royal Rumble Match in a month’s time. Sami Zayn arrives and complains again about having to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a lumberjack match against Big E. He blames Daniel Bryan for this, who said months ago that the WWE Intercontinental Championship must be defended more regularly. But Karma will take care of Bryan.
4. Match

Lumberjack Match
Big E won against Sami Zayn (c) via pin after a big ending. -> Title change!

– Lumberjacks: The Street Profits, Otis, Chad Gable, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Angel Garza, Kalisto, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Akira Tozawa, Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, Lince Dorado, King Corbin, Steve Cutler und Wesley Blake
– When the lumberjacks were fighting outside the ring, Sami Zayn tried to flee, but was stopped by Apollo crews and promoted back into the ring. Big E then went on to win with his finisher.
Outside the ring there is a handshake between Big E and Corey Graves. At the end of the show, Big E celebrates his title win with the face lumberjacks in the ring.
