In the city and district of Würzburg, more people are still vaccinated against Corona twice than in the national and Bavarian average. Almost 62 percent of citizens currently have complete vaccination protection against Corona. For comparison: across Germany and Bavaria, the figure is 57 and 56 percent, respectively. The Kitzingen district is also above the average with a little more than 60 percent second vaccinations. The Main Spessart district is slightly below that with 54 percent.
A trend that is also clearly evident is that the number of first vaccinations is only increasing slightly, the number of second vaccinations is approaching this value more and more.
In the Kitzingen district, the number of second vaccinations is now even slightly higher than the number of first vaccinations. There, Johnson and Johnson’s vaccine was used comparatively often, one dose of which is sufficient. In the statistics, however, it is shown directly as a second vaccination.
