The excursion boats on the Main are running again – just in time for the Easter weekend. On Good Friday from 11 a.m., the “Alte Liebe” and the “Stadt Würzburg” invite tourists to take a leisurely trip on the Main. The journey to Veitshöchheim takes just under an hour – where visitors can visit the rococo garden at Veitshöchheim Palace, for example. Three to four boat trips are offered per day.
According to their own statements, the ship operators have suffered greatly from the corona pandemic. They are all the happier to finally be able to welcome tourists from all over the world again. The Veitshöchheimer Personenschifffahrt GmbH (VPS) also starts the new season on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
