SGMW Motor Indonesia will hold an event this week to introduce new electric cars to the automotive media. Wuling’s second electric car model in Indonesia is suspected Bingo.
In the invitation distributed to the media, it was stated that the introduction would take place on November 16 2023 in Tangerang.
It is not clearly stated what model of electric car is meant, but Wuling wrote ‘Media Briefing Pre Launching Wuling EV’ in the document.
Wuling Bingo or Binggo was written on this car’s number plate when it was exhibited at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) last May and it was suspected that it would be sold domestically after appearing on the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) website.
On the site there is a new code, E260REV, which is thought to be Bingo’s identity. There are 14 types that use the code with the terms ’30KW’ and ’50KW’ which are believed to represent the power of the electric motor.
Then the 14 types also appear to have codes 203, 333 and 410 which are thought to indicate Bingo mileage specifications.
The cheapest NJKB Bingo is IDR 181 million, while the most expensive is IDR 260 million. This NJKB is higher than Wuling’s first electric car model, the Air EV, so it is possible that Bingo’s retail price is above it.
