“Wuling Air ev Former ASEAN Summit Units Sell Out in Just a Few Days”

Wuling only takes a few days to sell out 50 units Wuling Air ev former ASEAN Summit. The electric vehicle with small dimensions was first offered at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show or PEVS 2023 exhibition.

Dian Asmahani as Marketing Director of Wuling Motors Indonesia explained, Wuling Air ev, the former ASEAN Summit, immediately became a target after the unit was used by state officials in Labuan Baju, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Now, the stock of these vehicles is no longer left.

“The unit has just returned from the Summit, when there was PEVS 2023 we marketed it there and it was welcomed by consumers and all ASEAN Summit units are now sold out, sold out at the exhibition,” said Dian in Solo, Central Java, Tuesday (23 /5).

When asked which consumers bought 50 units of Wuling Air after the ASEAN Summit, Dian could not explain in detail. However, he said, all of them were purchased individually alias not bought up by certain agencies or companies.

“Consumers who buy are personal, yes,” he said.

Dian explained, even though the status was used, the car felt like new. Therefore, the distance traveled on average is less than 500 kilometers. While the warranty scheme is the same as when buying a new vehicle.

“Essentially, it’s a new unit, like a new car and only used at the ASEAN Summit. It still has a few kilometers, not up to 500 km. Well… it’s under 1,000 km, but mostly under 500 km,” he said.

Previously, Dian ensured that the former ASEAN Summit Wuling Air ev was sold to consumers in an ‘as is’ condition, aka without restoration. That’s a sign, the sticker attached to the body of the vehicle is still maintained. Meanwhile, the discount is IDR 40 million more and includes tax incentives.

All Wuling Air evs that are sold back to consumers are available in Pristine White colors and special ornaments typical of the ASEAN Summit. The electric car can travel up to 300 kilometers on a single full battery charge.

While serving in Labuan Baju, Wuling Air ev was assigned as the official vehicle for delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Timor Leste.
