The Wu-Tang Clan’s first album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) was released in 1993. The record, which features songs like “CREAM” (“Cash Rules Everything Around Me”) and “Protect Ya Neck,” has now gone three times platinum in the US. A milestone in the genre, the Wu-Tang Clan went on to become one of the biggest names of the MTV generation in the years that followed.

RZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Method Man rapped about their world of social injustice and poverty – while seeking the limelight and big bucks. Under RZA’s direction, the band used samples from martial arts films in their music, as well as samples from classic funk and soul songs by artists such as Rick James, James Brown and Syl Johnson.

On July 11th, according to the announcement from organizer Barracuda Music, the Wu-Tang Clan will perform in full in the town hall. At the last concert in Vienna in 2015, band leaders RZA, Method Man and Raekwon, among others, canceled without giving a reason. The early bird sale starts on Friday, February 10 at 10 a.m.
