In 2019, the New York group inaugurated a block in its name in New York, a symbolic tribute which has just been surpassed by an impressive new tribute. The Wu-Tang Clan now has HIS day, November 9, the anniversary of the first album of a legendary group.
All black and yellow
On the occasion of this special day which compiles a legendary album release and 50 years of hip-hop, the Empire State Building in New York will be lit up in the group’s colors, black and yellow. A collector’s box set has also been released, including vinyl, book, photos and other new items that fans will be able to acquire.
For three days, the Gramercy Theater in New York hosts a unique showaiming to celebrate 30 years of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) with the exceptional presence of RZA, rapper and member of the group.
On November 15, the documentary A Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre will be broadcast at Lincoln Center in New York and will also include a discussion with SZA, presented in collaboration with 36 Chambers ALC and the Hip-Hop Education Center.
