Event # 26 der World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 is the $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship. The field was manageable with 74 starters so far, Neymar was of course the headliner.
Johannes Becker was there, but so were Robert Cambell, Yuri Dzivielevski, Brian Rast, Terrence Chan, Anthony Zinno, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, John Monnette, Erik Seidel, Benny Glaser and so on. Neymar did the honors and not only caused a stir with his rail. He enjoyed the game for four levels with – if that’s possible in Limit Hold’em – a lot of action before he finally said goodbye. Scott Seiver, Benny Glaser and defending champion John Monnette were also among the Day 1 bustouts.
Marco Johnson took the lead, only 29 players were left after ten levels. Johannes Becker got through the day unscathed, but is among the short stacks with 21,000 chips. The late reg is still open at the start of day 2, one or the other late starter is still expected.
