Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
WSBK Executive Director Gregorio lavilla fascinated with Mandalika Circuit which became the venue WSBK Mandalika ahead of the 2022 Superbike.
WSBK, which is still part of the Dorna group, has released a provisional schedule for the upcoming 2022 Superbike. In the schedule uploaded on Twitter social media, next season will still have 13 races, such as WSBK 2021.
In Superbike 2022, WSBK Mandalika will be held in November. It’s just that, it’s no longer a closing race. In his comments on CrashWSBK boss Gregorio Lavilla is enthusiastic about the Mandalika Circuit for next season.
“I’m excited to welcome two new circuits in 2021: Autodrom Most [WSBK Ceko] and Pertamina Mandalika International Road Circuit. We are looking forward to another fantastic WSBK season,” said Lavilla.
For WSBK 2022, the Mandalika Superbike at the Mandalika Circuit will be the 11th series, before WSBK Australia, and the final series will be announced soon.

According to Lavilla, the 13th series or ending is still being studied. A number of options for the closing race are already in the hands of the WSBK.
“The 13th series will take place and we have several options for the location of this event,” said Lavilla.
On that occasion WSBK was also pleased with the return of Australian Superbike at the Phillip Island Circuit. In the provisional schedule, Australia does not yet have a race date. Australia had missed the 2021 season.
The last time WSBK Australia was held was in the 2020 edition with Toprak Razgatlioglu, Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes as winners in three races.
“In the meantime, it would be great to welcome Australia and the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit back to the calendar, this time closing the season,” said Lavilla.
“The date will be determined, because it is related to logistical challenges that require further analysis,” Lavilla continued.
