With the purchase of more e-buses and the construction of a huge carport for the same in Lindenau, the LVB want to set an example for climate protection.
But now old stinkers are rolling through the trade fair city, who have already tormented themselves through hundreds of thousands of kilometers through Berlin traffic jams.

This time, the LVB apparently procured vehicles (see license plate) from a bus dealer from Schwemsal (municipality of Muldestausee/Saxony-Anhalt), which the BVG had long since phased out and can be had for a few thousand euros with hundreds of thousands of kilometers.
The vehicles are currently being used for the rail replacement service on line 15 between the main station and Naunhofer Straße.
The rented buses (ex BVG) are up to 16 years old (WB-V 4162). Although the LVB has the same type in its inventory (Solaris Urbino 18 III), the oldest is only nine years old.
